THE GAME

Scoresheet is the social score prediction game, and here is how it works :

Play

Play is where you make your picks, follow the live games, and check the results to see how many points you’ve scored

Making your Picks

Matches are unpicked until you tap to make your pick in the Play screen.

We save your picks whenever you change the score value, however you can edit these values right up until kick-off.

Upcoming

Shows the upcoming round of Premier League fixtures that you can make your score picks for in this round.

You can make and change your picks up until Kick-off of each individual game.

Live

Shows the matches that are currently live so you can see what’s happening and how events are affecting your scores as it stands.

You can follow games in real-time and see who the goalscorers are.

Results

Shows all the matches that have finished in this matchweek

You can see how many points you scored this round and share your performance with your friends.

Scoring

We have devised a scoring system which takes into account the probability of predictions occurring at kick-off, therefore rewarding players for taking bigger risks.

Projected Points

When you make your picks, the points you see are projected points based on the implied probability at the time of making your picks.

These point values can change up until kick-off, which is when they lock in, however in football in the lead up to a game the points are unlikely to move that much (maybe a point or two if there are any significant team news changes).

When you are inputting a score prediction, you are making two picks, one is the result of the game (Home win, Away win, Draw) and one is the exact scoreline.

Correct Result & Perfect Pick!

If you’ve predicted the outcome correctly you will have the Correct Result and the tick icon will turn green.

If you’ve also predicted the scoreline exactly you will have a Perfect Pick! and the star icon will turn gold alongside the Correct Result icon.

Probability based scoring

Our scoring system uses the probabilities of the outcomes occurring, meaning if you make bolder picks you will receive a high points total.

Example: if an outcome has a 50% chance of happening then the score return for it would be +2 (this is a likely probability for picking a favourite to win at home), and if an outcome has a 10% chance of happening if would be a +10 (this is a likely probability for picking an exact scoreline for a home favourite of around 3-0).

Leagues

Scoresheet is more fun with friends, so we’ve built an easy to create and share league system, as well as public leagues to compete with larger groups.

League Creation

You can create a league in the Leagues tab, allowing you to select the name, image and the starting Matchweek of the league.

When you create a league it will generate a League Code which you can share with your friends, who will be able to input it in the Join League screen in order to join

Manage League

If you’ve created a league you are the manager of that league, and can change the above information for the league at any time, as well as remove any members from the league you no longer want in it.

Public Leagues

You will be put into public leagues when you join Scoresheet to compete with larger cohorts of relevant people, these are :

  • Global - Everyone playing Scoresheet globally

  • National - Everyone playing Scoresheet in the same country as you

  • Fanbase - Everyone playing Scoresheet who supports the same football team as you

  • Friends - An aggregated League of every other person you are in leagues with
